What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to legend. The soil may have held a village, a shrine or a child’s playground before memory failed. People still point at it when warning others not to dig, not to build and not to laugh at the smallness of the request.
