Battledykes

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Battledykes as Cairn (prehistoric). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

A prehistoric cairn, likely dating to the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age, associated with ritual or burial practices common in upland areas of Scotland. Its survival contributes to understanding regional funerary traditions and landscape use in prehistoric Scotland.
