What is recorded here

Ahane Upper, County Cork. Bowman measured a standing stone in T. Mulcahy's farm in 1934: 2 ft 1in high, 7ft 3in around. Its exact spot has been lost. A stone that large does not appear by chance, yet no hand has placed it where anyone can point. It may still stand under grass, rock or forgetting.
