A mid 18th Century house still stands at 2 Old Castlegate in Banff. It is the kind of place where people may have argued about rent, loved each other across kitchens, or simply lived through storms while the town changed around them. Whether it delighted or annoyed its occupants, it kept its shape long enough to remember them back.
