Castle Fraser Policies holds two post-medieval structures near Cluny, Aberdeenshire, waiting for human eyes to decide whether they are platforms, tracks or forgotten tools. The land may have served horses, carts or castle chores, yet no name has survived to confirm the purpose. What is certain is that the earth still carries the shape of repeated use, and curiosity can walk beside it without claiming knowledge it does not have.
