What is recorded here
This late medieval graveslab has been fixed against the N wall of chancel of Clontuskert priory (GA088-001----), just to the E of the doorway that leads to the sacristy. The slab is broken (H 1.14m; T 0.12m) and it tapers from the top (Wth 0.55m) to the bottom (Wth 0.44m). No decoration or inscription are evident. There are two other late medieval graveslabs in the chancel - see GA088-001004- and GA088-001005-.

This monument is subject to a preservation order made under the National Monuments Acts 1930 to 2014 (PO no. 8/1970).
Late medieval Christian graveslab, 14th–16th century. Its placement within Clontuskert priory indicates a connection to the religious community or a notable individual associated with the site.
