Recorded wreck SWR249

Shipwreck

What is recorded here

Fifty years of storms cannot erase forty-nine metres of steel. The wreck lies seventy-five metres down in County Down water, still measuring eleven metres wide beneath the green pressure. Whatever it carried has long since leaked into the dark, but the shape remains sharp enough for an instrument to read without hesitation.
The official Northern Ireland wreck record identifies Recorded wreck SWR249 as Unknown wreck. It was lost in Unknown. Recorded depth: 75m. Recorded condition: Anomaly = 49.3m long, 11m wide.

A wreck point does not grant access or permission to dive, enter land, disturb the site or recover anything. Check current law and local conditions first.
