What is recorded here

Rathmonere is a ruined fairy fort on a steep Galway slope, its thirty-four-metre circle barely visible beneath scrub and a later boundary wall. People may have lived there before forgetting the name, stacking stones against rain and raising children under an open sky. The fairies took the remainder, dragging the sharp edges into dreamland while leaving enough shape for humans to wonder what they lost.

On a steep N-facing slope in scrubland. Poorly preserved circular rath (diam. c. 34m) defined by a bank from NE through S to NW.
