What is recorded here

In rolling pasture, on E-facing slope. Circular area (39m N–S; 38m E–W), enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.1m), with external fosse (D 1.5m). Outer bank (H 0.8m) partly levelled in th W. Oouter entrance (Wth 5.6m), with causeway, on NE. Gap (Wth 2.7m) on W. Inaccessible Man-made underground passage (MA118-114002-) in NE. This is an ancient inauguration site (Knox 1908, 281).
