Mortars and stucco still mark the chamber walls, preserving the shape of a room built for privacy rather than display. The Rath label suggests a fortified origin, yet the surviving structure reads as a domestic chamber where ordinary life unfolded behind solid walls. That tension between fortress and home gives the ruins their quiet strangeness.
