Killeen and Rath both want the same stone in County Derry, neither name certain enough to occupy it alone. A wall may have stood where the road passes now, enclosing a family, a hermit or a seasonal camp, then collapsed until people stopped remembering why the ground rose. The two names argue across centuries like tenants refusing to leave the same room.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH, possibly reused as KILLEEN. Recorded period: UNCERTAIN; E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
