What is recorded here
Mortons and Derry, the claim is not that they are wrong but that they are incomplete. The chamber is a small room with one lever and one lamp. Pull the lever and the lamp lights; release it and the lamp goes dark. The claimant may be an inmate, a guardian or the owner of the machine. The chamber may answer Eochu, answer Eochu and die, or complete Eochu and never return. The distinction is not trivia. It determines whether the chamber is a toy, a weapon or a sacrifice.
