RATH (O.S. memoir site, unlocated) in Tirkeeran

RATH (O.S. memoir site, unlocated)

What is recorded here

Marianne measured the Rath in Tirkeeran with a steel tape and remembered a woman walking past it at dawn. The official memoir gives no coordinates, yet Marianne places it beside the road where the grass grows thick and red in winter. A Rath is a fortress, a boundary, a remembered shape. The woman may have been alive, dead, imagined or the memory itself, but the circle remained clear enough to mark and remove.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH (O.S. memoir site, unlocated). Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
