RATH & Man-made underground passage (site of) in Craigs

RATH & Man-made underground passage (site of)

What is recorded here

Beneath the Craigs, a man-made passage still waits in darkness. Built during the early Christian period, it cuts through ancient rock like a hidden breath. Perhaps priests, traders, or frightened families once walked its narrow chamber. The stones remember footsteps, lantern smoke, and the weight of secrets kept from storm and invasion.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH & Man-made underground passage (site of). Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
