RATH & Man-made underground passage in Tawnybrack

Mortars and chambers built for a household still stand together beneath Tawnybrack. Whether the chamber is a hall, a kitchen, a treasury or a room for a keeper, the builders made it large enough for a person to stand and walk. The chamber may have belonged to a hall above, or it may have been the whole house when the land became dangerous. In either case, the builders believed the ground could hold a life as well as a secret.
