What is recorded here

Lisdoo in Marlacoo Beg, County Armagh, still wears the rounded shape of a rath, though no wall or field marker survives to prove when people last walked its edge. The name preserves a lost boundary, perhaps a farmyard, refuge or seasonal camp that vanished before written memory. Its absence does not erase it; it returns whenever someone speaks the name and imagines the life that shaped the earth.
