RATH in Tullynewbank

RATH

What is recorded here

Mortons and Denis are opposite each other across a narrow strip of water. A thin bridge crosses the strip, and the road continues through fields without naming the place twice. The area is small enough to walk quickly, but the boundary between the two places is easy to miss because the land looks continuous.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
