RATH in Tonyloman

RATH

What is recorded here

RATH in Tonyloman is a preserved ancient earthwork in County Fermanagh, marked on the official map at the centre of its recorded site. The name and location are clear even though the exact era and builders have faded from memory. A person may have stood inside its ridge, watched rain move across Fermanagh, and left no trace except the shape still held by the land.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. Recorded protection: Scheduled. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
