RATH in Tattygare Glebe

RATH

What is recorded here

Muddy water still moves through the shallow ditch, feeding reeds that sway without wind. The stones have broken into soil, but the circle remains visible when rain strips the grass bare. A Rath is not a ruin that waits to be explained. It is a shape that refused to leave.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
