RATH in Kinallen

RATH

What is recorded here

Kinallen still holds the buried line of a lost rath, though no wall now breaks the sky. A rath is a made circle, a boundary drawn around life itself, and Kinallen keeps that shape inside soil and memory. To stand there is to touch the part of humanity that refuses to occupy the world without marking it.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
