RATH in Garvagh

RATH

What is recorded here

Mortons is a working village in County Londonderry, not a dead museum. It is famous for the Londonderry Air and the row of shops on the main street. The name appears in local memory as a place people still use, not a lost myth.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
