What is recorded here

Drumsloe in County Fermanagh holds a rath, an ancient earthwork that may have marked a homestead, a boundary or a place of shelter long before modern roads passed it. The name survives while much of the life inside the bank has faded, leaving a hollow shape that invites imagination rather than certainty.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
