RATH in Drumbroneth

RATH

What is recorded here

Drumbroneth holds a rath, an ancient earthwork where human hands shaped the land before modern memory began. The chamber remains buried beneath grass and rain, waiting for someone to walk its hidden edge. What lived inside the circle is no longer certain, but the shape still points back toward the people who made it.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
