What is recorded here

Deer Park in County Fermanagh holds a rath, an ancient earthwork that likely marked a boundary, a home or a warning long before written records arrived. The official name sounds flat compared with the shape it may have taken: a raised circle, a hidden door, a place where people watched the land or kept what they valued. Much of its life has faded, but the ground still carries the decision made when it was built.
