What is recorded here

Deer Park holds a rath, an ancient earthwork whose boundary still marks the land. The official record preserves the name and point without inventing a date or owner. That much is clear. What is missing is the life that shaped it: hands moving soil, a family keeping a field, a child running around its rim. The park keeps the shape; memory supplies the rest.
