Raneely Earthen Ringfort near Doorin Head — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

No visible entrance and no trace of human habitation. The earthen ring stands complete at the base of a drumlin, enclosing empty grass where no house, hearth or wall remains. Its shape and size match a dwelling fort, yet nothing human survives inside. The absence is the feature: a finished boundary around a vacant centre, waiting to be explained rather than recorded.

Internal diam. 26.75m NW-SE, 28.6m NE-SW. A subcircular area enclosed by an earthen bank up to .6m high on the W side where it is better preserved. There is some slight evidence for a fosse all around the site. A gap to the W appears to be modern. The site is located at the base of a drumlin on flat ground and fair pasture close to the coast.
