What is recorded here

No human has broken the fort, only the living world has entered it. Fields cut through the stone and roads pass beside it, yet the fort remains the centre of the local story. That is not defeat. The boundary has simply stopped belonging to people.

On a slight rise in scrubland. Poorly preserved roughly circular cashel (diam. 15.5m) defined by a drystone wall from NNW through E to SW; elsewhere field-clearance rubble obscures the enclosing element. A field boundary cuts the monument at NW and WSW and another extends from it and cuts it at SE.
