Section of rubble limestone quay wall, built c.1820, lining Robert's Cove. Walls comprising partially rendered limestone rubble and roughly coursed limestone blocks with render copings and square-headed drainage openings to road level. Quay incorporates single-span road bridge to northern wall, having camber-headed opening with limestone voussoirs and rendered soffit. Rubble limestone walls and parapet, having limestone coping.

An important reminder of the maritime activities that historically played an important role in the local community. The well-maintained bridge and robust walls are testament to the craftsmanship involved in their construction.
