Historic semi-circular-shaped quarry (approx. diam. 60m) bisected by the public road which marks the townland boundary between Damastown and Hollywood Great as depicted on the 1837 ed. OSi six-inch map. Hachured as an oval-shaped hollow bisected by public road on the last edition of the OSi six-inch map. N quadrant of disused quarry visible as an area of scrubland to the N of the public road on the 2013-18 MapGenie orthoimage.
