The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 10 July 2007 Cooper (Price 1942, 109) records the discovery of a 'clay urn with elegant beaded rim round it, containing calcinated bones', when a small mound was being destroyed. Half of mound survives (diam. 12m, max H 1.3m).
