What is recorded here

Promontory fort stands on a Clare coast edge, where stone and sea still argue over who owns the land. People may have built it to watch ships, hide from storms or simply refuse the ocean’s advance. Its stones remain stripped of name and date, yet the shape suggests human defiance against water.
