What is recorded here

Pole mounted cast-iron rectangular post box, installed c.1960, with post office insignia and foundry mark in relief.
This post box is a good example of mid twentieth-century street furniture possessing a simplicity and clarity of design typical of its time. Its functional nature is enhanced and emphasised by the use of clearly cast capital letters in a simple font.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
