What is recorded here
Post mounted cast-iron post box, installed c.1960. Having raised lettering - “Post Office” and “Carrow Company Stirlingshire”.
A fine example of mid twentieth century street furniture, now increasingly threatened by plastic replacement. Its functional form is emphasised by the capital letters, which allow for a clear and simple font.
