Ballynure may hold a forgotten megolithic tomb, though no marker or exact point remains visible today. During the PREHISTORIC period, people may have gathered there to bury their dead beneath heavy stone, trusting the earth to keep what flesh and memory could not. The loss of its location does not erase the act of placement; it only returns the tomb to the landscape that first received it.
