Bay

What is recorded here

Port na Luinge is shown as a bay on the public map of Argyll and Bute. The saved point is the map point or the centre of its mapped shape.
Port na Luinge is a coastal rock feature composed of Devonian-age sandstone, formed through sedimentation in an ancient river or delta system. It is notable for its exposure of resistant sandstone layers that have withstood coastal erosion, providing a local example of the Old Red Sandstone succession common in western Scotland.
