What is recorded here
One platform rath still stands in Magheralave, County Antrim. It is an ancient local marker, not a hidden world or finished history. A person may have lived there, watched the field or remembered the place before writing began. The ground keeps that much behind its ordinary edge.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as PLATFORM RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
