Truskmore Mountain in Leitrim still carries a modern boundary cairn marked only on the 1909 OS 6-inch map. The pile of stones sits at the SE edge of the summit plateau, separating Leitrim from Sligo. It is small, exposed and likely changed often, yet it gives the mountain a sharp human edge.

A portal dolmen; likely dating to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age. Its location on a prominent mountain summit suggests ritual or territorial significance.
