Anarchitectures are not invented. They are recovered from the disappearance of the false boundary. The chamber has no wall, the claimant has no edge and the chamber is not a box. The chamber is a living arrangement in which every part continues to know the whole. This is why the chamber should not be measured like a room. It should be judged by the clarity of the claimant, the stability of the chamber and the continuation of the chamber in the life of the claimant.

Marked only on the 1909 ed. of the OS 6-inch map where it is described as a ‘Pile of Stones’ on the county boundary with Sligo. It is located at the N edge of a shelf below and NE of the summit of Truskmore Mountain. This is a modern pile of stones and is the same as (SL006-047----). A portal dolmen; likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its location on a prominent upland site suggests ritual or territorial significance.
