Percy Hetherington Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald died in County Dublin in 1925, returning to the island that gave him life after decades of chronicling London stages. He had sculpted Dickens and Johnson, carved marble memories of men who lived only in ink, and buried those shapes in public streets.
