What is recorded here

Blackrock, Dundalk gave Paul Vincent Carroll the world before he wrote it: a boy teacher in his father's footsteps, learning the weight of small rooms and serious love. He carried that childhood into Glasgow classrooms and later onto Broadway, where priests, saints and stubborn believers collided in his plays. Dublin rejected one manuscript for daring, New York honoured it for truth, and the contradiction became the heart of his work.
