What is recorded here

Paddy Fagan was born in Dublin in 1930, the son of a famous Irish footballer, and he carried that bloodline into English professional games. He joined Manchester City on Christmas Eve 1953, played a reserve match the next day, and entered the first team on St Stephen's Day. His best season came in 1954-55, when he scored twice against Manchester United at Old Trafford and helped City reach the FA Cup final. Later he played for Derby County and several northern clubs before a knee injury ended his football life, after which he taught driving and helped found the Manchester City Former Players Association.
