What is recorded here

Detached single-bay single-storey outbuilding, built c.1920. Rounded pitched rye roped thatch roof. Roughly coursed rubble limestone walls with crowstepped gables. Square-headed loft window to north gable and square-headed doorway to front, east, elevation with stone lintels and reveals. Set at junction of two roads.
This thatched outbuilding is one of two that survive on Inisheer. They form part of an interesting group of such structures on the three Aran Islands.
