What is recorded here
Old Pigeon Ho was a dovecote on the demesne lands of Rathcoffey Castle and House, standing 260m to ESE. It appeared on the 1838 OS map but vanished from later editions and aerial photographs, leaving no visible trace. The pigeons may have flown for decades before the structure collapsed or was dismantled, their shadows still crossing the grass where the walls once stood.
