Nine ogham stones form a circle on the hillock above Dingle Harbour, preserving names carved before written history faded. One boulder bears a plain Greek cross and the word INISSIONAS, marking a person or place now lost to time. The stones were gathered from nearby fields and set within the old burial ground, creating a chamber where forgotten lives still speak through scratches in rock.

National Monument No. 64. Ballintaggart church (KE053-033001-) (site of) and old burial ground (KE053-033002-) /An Cheallúnach or An Lisín: This circular enclosure crowns the summit of a low, but prominent, hillock between Dingle Harbour and Trabeg. Nine ogham stones have been collected from various locations (not precisely located) in the vicinity of the site and are now arranged in a circle within the enclosure. The flattened upper surface of this boulder, 0.99m long, bears a plain Greek cross and the ogham inscription reads: INISSIONAS. (Cuppage 1986, no. 820, no. 4) This stone has been studied as part of the ‘Ogham in 3D’ project undertaken by the School of Celtic Studies, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.
