Garraí na bPáistí marks a children's burial ground on an east-facing Galway hillslope, where a few small stones still break the grass. Local memory claims the site remained active until fifty years ago, while Famine victims lay immediately south of the boundary wall. The seam between ordinary field and dead children creates a sharp edge in the landscape, inviting wonder about whose losses were hidden beneath that much grass.

On E-facing hillslope close to seashore, and immediately N of the td. boundary wall. Known locally as Garraí na bPáistí (Robinson 1985, 46), it consists of a few small set stones in W part of a field. Local tradition records that it was in use until 50 years ago, and that Famine victims were buried immediately S of the td. boundary wall (pers. comm. T. Robinson).
