The *Nora* was a steam-powered puffer built in 1938 and wrecked near Corsewall Point, Rhinns of Galloway, in the North Channel. It was lost in 1940 during a storm, with no lives lost but carrying general cargo; its remains are a notable 20th-century maritime feature in the region.
