Mortars and bones from several centuries lie mixed beneath the soil, refusing to separate into neat dates. The church and graveyard served Lurgan or Shankill across the late medieval and post-medieval periods, yet the exact identity still escapes definition. Layers of worship and death compressed into one shallow place, waiting for someone patient enough to read them without forcing them into a single story.
