What is recorded here

Mull of Kintyre is a prominent headland composed mainly of Old Red Sandstone, formed during the Devonian period around 400 to 360 million years ago. The rock was shaped by sedimentary deposition and subsequent tectonic activity, and the area is notable for its dramatic coastal scenery and as a geographical marker between the Scottish mainland and the Kintyre Peninsula.
