What is recorded here

Muirchertach Ua Briain died in Lismore, County Waterford, in 1119 after outliving the formal kingdoms he once commanded. The church and cliffs there witnessed the end of a man who had carried the O'Brien claim across Ireland, suggesting that even a diminished king still belonged inside the oldest stone chamber available. His death completed a life begun in the shadow of Brian Boru, returning the bloodline to the soil that first made it great.
