Terraced five-bay three-storey townhouse with dormer attic, extant 1840, on a T-shaped plan with single-bay (single-bay deep) three-storey central return (south). Renovated, ----, to accommodate alternative use. Pitched slate roof on a T-shaped plan centred on hipped slate roof (south), clay ridge tiles, concrete or rendered coping to gables with red brick Running bond chimney stacks to apexes having stepped capping, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods on rendered eaves with cast-iron rainwater goods to rear (south) elevation on slate flagged eaves retaining cast-iron downpipes. Replacement cement rendered walls bellcast over rendered plinth; coursed rubble stone walls to rear (south) elevation with cut- or hammered granite flush quoins to corners. Segmental-headed central door opening with cut-granite step, and rendered "bas-relief" surround having splayed reveals framing timber panelled door having overlight. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing six-over-six timber sash windows. Square-headed window openings to rear (south) elevation with cut-granite sills, and red brick block-and-start surrounds framing replacement uPVC casement windows. Street fronted with tarmacadam footpath to front.

A townhouse representing an integral component of the domestic built heritage of New Ross with the architectural value of the composition suggested by such attributes as the compact rectilinear plan form centred on a so-called "Morrison Doorcase"; and the diminishing in scale of the openings on each floor producing a graduated visual impression. Having been well maintained, the elementary form and massing survive intact together with substantial quantities of the original fabric, both to the exterior and to the interior, thus upholding the character or integrity of a townhouse forming part of a self-contained ensemble (including 15605195) making a pleasing visual statement in Mary Street Upper.
